How entries are scored
- 40%Aesthetic
A recognisable eye: light, palette, styling.
- 30%Consistency
The look holds across months, not one post.
- 20%Originality
Work others reference rather than repeat.
- 10%Community
How people respond to your posts, not how many follow it.
The jury reviews the accounts you choose and everything you publish until 17 January. Every account is checked by hand for real engagement first.

05Questions
Before you apply
Is this pay-to-win?
No. The fee pays for the review, not the result. Every entry is judged against the same four published criteria, and no fee, partner or follower count can buy a place on the shortlist. Finalists pay nothing further.
Do I need a large following?
No. Follower count is not a judging criterion. Ninety per cent of the score is aesthetic, consistency and originality; community, at ten per cent, looks at how people respond to your posts, not how many follow it. Accounts under 25,000 followers can also apply for Rising Muse.
Who judges?
A jury of five to seven people from the creator scene, brand marketing, photography and press, including at least one member with no link to us or our partners. Jurors step out of any category where they know an entrant. Their names are announced before judging begins.
How do I know it is genuine?
A fair question for a first edition. The rules, criteria and dates are published in full, deadlines are fixed, and if the ceremony does not go ahead every entry fee is refunded. Payments run through Stripe, and you receive a receipt and a reference for every entry. About us
Can I get a refund?
Yes. Withdraw within 14 days of applying, or at any time before entries close at 23:59 UK time on Sunday 15 November if that is later, and we refund you in full. Reply to your confirmation email to withdraw. If the ceremony is cancelled, every entry fee is refunded within 14 days, without you having to ask.
